Special Projects Coordinator
Location: Rexdale, Ontario
Reports to: General Manager
Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (5 days when required) Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Contract: April 1 to October 31

About the Role
As a Special Projects Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our organization by managing and tracking project deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met, and working closely with our General Manager to implement upcoming and new initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing
· Assisting in the planning and execution of major projects like our Annual Awards Night and Yearling Sale
· Organizing and participating in meetings with members, suppliers, stakeholders, and sponsors
· Preparing engaging sponsorship presentations
· Keeping projects on track by monitoring timelines, budgets, and expenditures
· Communicating updates to stakeholders and identifying potential risks or delays
· Providing administrative support to ensure smooth project execution
· Helping to enhance the visibility and impact of the organization
What We’re Looking For
· 2+ years of project management experience or similar work
· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Experience working with databases, social media, websites, and other digital tools
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently
· A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
· A valid driver’s license and access to transportation, as some travel is required

· Work is mainly in an office environment, with the Yearling Sale held at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion
· CTHS is a scent-free workplace
· Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events
