In keeping with the CTHS’ goal to keep our membership informed we are pleased to publish our inaugural issue of the CTHS Annual Statistical Review for 2019. Included in this issue are the various leader listings our industry is accustomed to.
One highlight for 2019 includes that fact that our membership numbers seem to have levelled off over the past 3 years so have our foal crop numbers. This is quite an achievement when the overall decline in crop numbers for 2019, as reported by the Jockey Club Fact Book (May 1, 2020), was 3.3% in North America and in 2019 Canada is showing a 1.3% increase.
With the unfortunate necessity to cancel all the Provincial Awards Ceremonies across the country we would like to take a moment to acknowledge a few achievements of our members and their horses:
