Five New Stallions Standing in Ontario for 2024

Stolz Thoroughbreds who have recently relocated from Alberta to Ontario offer a full service thoroughbred breeding / boarding solution for broodmare owners as well as winter layups for those looking for a home for their racehorse this winter.

Stallions standing at Stolz Thoroughbreds include MEDALLIST a son of Touch Gold who retired from racing with earnings of $421,375. Medallist is a multiple graded stakes winner having captured the Dwyer Stakes G2, Kenny Noe Jr. Handicap and the Deputy Minister Handicap G3. Standing for $3,500 for 2024.

READYFORPRIMETIME is the only son of More Than Ready standing in Canada. He was a sprinter who is black type stakes placed, with 4 wins from 18 starts, earning $198,261. Out of a Gone West mare Mana Pools will stand the 2024 season for $2,500.

CITY WOLF, a son of Giant’s Causeway out of Broodmare of the Year Baby Zip, by Relaunch. Bred and raced by Stronach Stables, City Wolf won the Durham Cup Stakes G3 and was runner up in the Seagram Cup Stakes G3 earning over $300,000 from his 18 races. City Wolf is a half brother to Ghostzapper and will stand for $2,500 in 2024.

Ballycroy Bloodstock recently announced that GUFO, a son of Declaration of War will be standing at their farm in Loretto in 2024. GUFO was a G1 winner at 3, 4, and 5 and won or placed in 15 stakes, 12 of them Graded. GUFO will stand for $4,500.
